Rackspace Elastic Engineering is a service-block model that gives customers ongoing access to a dedicated team of cloud architects and engineers — without the overhead of hiring, training, and retaining them in-house. Customers consume a flexible block of expert hours each month and direct that team toward whatever cloud, application, data, or security work has the highest priority. Elastic Engineering is most useful for organizations in the middle of multi-year cloud transformation, application modernization, or ERP/data-platform initiatives where requirements change faster than a fixed Statement of Work can absorb.

Rackspace operates a Security Operations Center as a Service (SOCaaS) and a multilayer cloud security practice that spans application security, data protection, Zero Trust frameworks, and cloud-native controls inside AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. Engagements typically follow a Discover & Assess → Design → Transform → Manage & Optimize lifecycle, mapped to compliance regimes (HIPAA, PCI DSS, SOC 2, ISO 27001) relevant to the customer's industry. The intent is shared responsibility done well — Rackspace owns the operational security of the platform layer while collaborating with the customer on workload and data-level controls.

Yes — exiting customer-owned data centers is one of the most common Rackspace engagement types. The work generally combines an application assessment, a migration strategy across hyperscaler and private-cloud targets, hardware-for-colocation options inside Rackspace facilities for workloads that need to stay close to physical infrastructure, and ongoing managed operations on the destination cloud. No. Your contract is signed directly with Rackspace and follows Rackspace's published pricing structure. Fibi does not insert itself into the contract or invoice. In most cases Fibi is able to negotiate equal or improved commercial terms by sourcing competitive proposals from other multicloud managed-services partners in parallel. Fibi's advisory work is funded by Rackspace separately, so engaging Fibi adds independent comparison and ongoing escalation support without altering your line items.
