DDoS Shield is a cloud-based mitigation service backed by Verizon Digital Media Services infrastructure, with one critical difference from many cloud-only services: it is carrier-agnostic. DDoS Shield can protect your IP address space regardless of which Internet service provider you use upstream. When an attack arrives, you maintain routing control and activate mitigation when needed — no matter which network the attack traverses. The platform is sized to absorb very large volumetric attacks (the recorded threat envelope exceeds 2 Tbps), with a global Point-of-Presence footprint that absorbs traffic close to its source rather than backhauling it to your perimeter.

Zero Trust Dynamic Access is a global unified zero-trust security service edge that provides connectivity and security to private on-prem, cloud, and SaaS resources — eliminating the blind spots created by legacy VPN concentrators and SWGs. The platform acts as the policy decision and enforcement point in a zero-trust architecture aligned with NIST Special Publication 800-207. For organizations standardizing on a NIST 800-207 reference architecture, ZT Dynamic Access provides the technology foundation: identity-aware, always-on access where applications, data, and services are inaccessible to attackers while trusted users connect directly to protected resources from anywhere.

Verizon's Rapid Response Retainer, delivered by the Verizon Threat Research Advisory Center (VTRAC), provides 24/7 emergency hotline access, retained incident-response hours, and SLAs for phone and on-site response. The retainer can be used for assessments, health checks, and incident-response planning, plus optional VTRAC capability add-ons that can be deployed proactively for immediate access to data when an incident occurs. VTRAC is the same team that produces the annual Verizon Data Breach Investigations Report (DBIR), so retainer customers receive incident response from analysts whose day job is studying global breach patterns.

No. Your contract is signed directly with Verizon — Fibi is not a party to the agreement.
